@dashewolff I don't do puppies. I do adult dogs.  That way you know better what you're getting yourself into.  That, and you don't have to deal with teething and potty training...

@theeternalscribe so sorry you had to go thru that! just remember you could save some little puppies life!

@dashewolff Having to have my baby dog put down was one of the hardest moments in my life.  I knew it had to be done. She was paralyzed from the neck down, and I would have never been able to take care of her on my own even under the best of prognoses.  It was so hard trying to keep it together that day.  I had the tendency of focusing on some of the weirdest things, like canceling her veterinary care plan.
            
            And it's funny.  I want another dog, but I find myself hesitant to dive back in again.
