Every time I write in a new fandom I worry that I’ve not captured the characters right, or that they’re too out of character and then I post it and without fail people tell me my characterisation is spot on or the best lady etc no matter the fandom 
          
          The moral here is don’t doubt yourself too hard folks 

Do you ever get 10,000 words into a fic and then sit back and think ‘wtf, I’ve written 10,000 words of a fucking top gun fanfic and have no intention of slowing down’
          
          Cause I do 
          

Juggling 14 characters and ensuring they all get equal amounts of dialogue/attention while trying not to stray from the centre character’s point of view and keeping the focal attention on him is just as difficult as it sounds ngl

So I’ve realised I might have a special interest for the first time since I was a kid which is cool
          
          Except it’s Mickey Milkovich. Not the show he’s from, not Shameless. Just Mickey 
          
          Pretty neat ig?

I have 6 wips in my notes app rn
          
          But I really wanna write a Top Gun beach fic

          If I posted my Shameless, Shadowhunters or Stranger Things fics on here would yous read them I feel bad about abandoning yous all </3

Y’know those videos you see of someone giving a dog like two dozen tennis balls? That’s me with fic ideas but I can’t finish any of them 

Writing and unmedicated adhd are an awful combination 2/10 wouldn’t recommend 

I’m not very active on here at all anymore and so every time I open this app and see more interaction with famILY a part of my soul dies

The longest fic I’ve written (in one part, ignoring famILY) is 5000 words 
          
          I just set myself a goal of 10,000 on my (AO3 sorry guys) Torchwood fic
          
          *cracks knuckles* I’m in the middle of exams let’s fucking do this
