Hey so I just read your book about autism and , I just wanted to say that as someone who cares about autism representation, this story feels like it’s leaning heavily into stereotypes—like the character being overly childlike and struggling dramatically with speech. Autism is different for everyone, and this kind of portrayal can actually be hurtful to people who live with it every day. Just something to think about. Thanks for writing with care.
