              “  a - ah —  ”  her mouth agape slightly.  she wasn't expecting the sudden hug at all.  the warden stared down at the male in incredulity before returning the gesture,  softly patting his head.  dorothy didn't mind if her uniform got wet or dirty.  she was more of relieved when he opened up himself a little.  
            
              “  shh.. it's okay.  i'm here for you.  we're all here for you.  ”  the woman said in a hushed tone.  she felt like a mother,  but later cringed at the idea of becoming one.  she sat with him for awhile,  until the male had calmed down.  'til then,  she pulled away.
            
              “  ..i'm sure you have alot of problems to explain,  but right now isn't the time..  i'll talk to you soon,  okay?  ”  a reassuring smile plastered on her face,  steadying her figure as her legs were starting to get numb from sitting in an uncomfortable posture.  of course,  she didn't wanna leave just yet..  

⠀"miss  galene..."  the  male  looked  up  at  her  with  this..  hopeful  look  in  his  eyes.  he  couldn't  speak,  in  the  state  of  shock  he  was  in..  but  it  was  all  projected,  when  he  suddenly  leaped  and  embraced  the  warden  whilst  sobbing.  "thank  you.  thank  you,  i.."
            
            ⠀he  couldn't  find  any  more  words  as  his  throat  went  dry,  couldn't  do  anything  more  than  hug  the  woman  tightly.  he  felt  like  a  child.  a  child  who..  was  having  a  good  childhood.  "i..  am.."  he  tried  to  croak  out,  "grateful.  thank..  you..."  
            
            ⠀he  hadn't  really  been  comforted  like  this  before,  excluding  that  of  the  plastic  like  comfort  that  was  given  to  him  by  people  who  only  felt  pity.  for  once..  he  actually  felt  something  genuine.
