i have unpublished all of my books. they are creepy and plain disturbing to read when you put yourself in the celebrity’s shoes. i never wrote them because of my infatuation with them anyway, they were more like real characters.
i don’t ask you to do the same, but i ask you to understand why i’m choosing to do this. i started writing fanfiction about three years ago. i was unaware of the consequences of writing it. not only can it ruin my reputation if someone from school finds it or i suddenly become popular, i also start to obsess over the numbers. i didn’t know what was wrong or right, i was far too young; and looking at all the real person fanfiction in wattpad, i thought it was completely normal.
i regret ever coming to this website. nothing good has come from it. my skills haven’t gotten any better because of it, and it’s had a negative effect on my life. all my friends here, i never talk to them. there’s no reason for me to stay.
and yeah, i could write plain fiction. but it will never be read. the popular books here are pretty cliché. how many bad boy books have you seen on here? those are the ones that get the attention, which personally enrages me.
so goodbye wattpad. i’ve had terrible, terrible memories of you, and i regret revealing a single thing about me to you. i wish i could erase my name and information but you all remember it. sorry to all the people i’ve wronged here, and to everyone i’ve written about. i’m a creep.
