Okay so I have a lot of friends who are actually diagnosed dyslexic and from their stories I know it was tough on them so in no way am I downing on anyone who is or saying their lying but I've seen a lot lately that people who write here caption with something like "don't judge. I'm dyslexic" the statistics say 1 in 10. I feel like I see a lot more. The point of this is do you guys think maybe I just seem to find people who are or do you think some people may not be truthful. Once again this is not hate or an accusation, just curiosity towards something that scientifically doesn't make sense.

tbh i think a lot of people with dyslexia are actually trying to do something despite having such a thing
whereas they haven’t before, i’ve seen a lot of people with dyslexia start trying to write what would normally be difficult for them

@deanandgayangel a different cite said one in 5 but neither are really trustworthy. I've read that's its very common but in the past hour I have found 2 books with it. I just feel like it's a lot. Maybe it's just I didn't happen to see it in times before when I read.
