Haii!! Sorry for posting on your message board... Umm so basically I wanted to let you know:
Wattpad is kinda being stupid and now they use an AI algorithm to detect copyright infringements or something, and if the AI thinks that your work violates copyright rules, IT WILL LITERALLY DELETE YOUR ACCOUNT (with no warning, is what I've heard??)
Even if you give credits to the original (Hoyoverse, in this case) the AI still deletes your account! It's so stupid...
But I'm pretty sure we found the solution!! As long as you specifically state that it's not for profit and, of course, give all credits to the original's (idk about art I think that's fine- just the characters need credits) then you should be good! I think you can put it either in the description or at the beginning of the fic as a disclaimer or something
I just wanted to let you know because if your beautiful works got deleted just because AI thought you were stealing Hoyoverse's characters even though you are writing fanfiction (and fanfiction is allowed), I would probably... yeah let's not finish that thought ummm-
