I read The Tumultuous Dana Clarke today. And my god, that book is amazing. It's written so beautifully. And it is definitely not a cliche. It shows the reality of something which happens a lot nowadays. Mostly, I know which direction the book is headed. But this book really surprises you. And I love this so much. It shows the victim of sexual abuse from a much different light. The insight into their thoughts, how they feel, everything is so accrurately depicted. I've gone through something of that sort too. And I relate to Dana so much because, at one point, I had felt what Dana felt. I relate to this book so much. And Dana is so adorable. God, I just love how she's so compassionate, especially when she hurts more for her mother than she hurts for herself. I love her strength, and how even though after being continously criticised by her mother, she doesn't hold her responsible, tries to understand her situation, and isn't bitter towards her mother at all. And I love that even after being hurt, she doesn't change into a bitter person. She still remains the same - loving, kind and caring.
This book is the most relatable book I've read so far. I can't express in words how much I adore it. The way you write, is extraordinarily amazing. So please keep writing. I'd love to read more books from you.
