It doesn't mean that being a K-Pop fan, watching K-dramas, learning other languages aside from Tagalog, other Philippine mother tongue, and Baybayin lessens my love and respect for my country and to our National Heroes. I, also am a human. I have feelings and emotions such as "kilig" that I cannot stop whenever I watch K-Pop/Dramas. I have the right to choose whom I will idolize aside from Philippine politicians, artists, heroes, leaders, and influencers. Idolizing someone from other countries, not just Korea, doesn't mean that I already forgot the sacrifices that our Heroes made and what they fought for. It doesn't take away my pride as a Filipino. Being a fan of other countries doesn't mean that I am not a proud Filipino anymore. I am just a Filipino trying to learn the culture and history of other countries, trying to widen my knowledge. So please, at least respect my own perception and life as a fan.

✌Sorry for the drama. I just need to let out the feelings that I've been keeping for a long time. It's just frustrating how other people throws you hateful comments about not being "Maka-bansa" just because you're a K-Pop fan. I hope ya'll understand. Thank you. But if not, then it's fine for me. Just don't make my statement a big deal.
