the human's confusion was very evidently written on his face as he listened to rowan's to an extent vague description. he knew the vampire was withholding information, and knew he should probably pressed for a clearer answer, but he instead chose not to and simply decided to leave it at that for the time being〝 when i think of a ceremony, my immediate thought is a sacrificial one- ＂ he jokingly said with a shrug of his shoulders, his words lighthearted as if he was trying to make the other less tense from earlier flusters

dante struggled with reckless abandon, only focused on trying to free himself in disregard for his constricted limbs. the adrenaline in his body spiked, pulse quickening, and heartbeat thundering loud in his chest as he tried making any noise through the hand that clasped his mouth shut, but to no avail. it was only in that moment that he finally thought to harshly bite down on one of the digits that constricted his mouth, using the brief opportunity to yell out to the other who with what sliver of hope he had, was trying to find him right now〝 ROWAN-! ＂ he managed to yell out, not caring who else heard him in that moment before he was promptly shut up once more

〝 ( ... ) huh-? wait, where the hell am i now?? ＂ the human finally asked himself upon snapping out from his subconscious wandering. the manor had been much larger than he thought upon first seeing it, his eyes darting around the unfamiliar hall he was in with a small budding feeling of dread at being (to his dismay and annoyance) lost. maybe it was because he was too busy internally panicking to notice, but the quiet and unfamiliar figure that snuck up on him from behind caught him by surprise. their inhuman strength being put against him and restricting him from moving as a hand harshly clamped over his mouth to keep him silent〝 oh? what's a lost little lamb like you doing here by yourself? ＂ the voice of the unknown vampire uttered as dante struggled to free himself with widened eyes of panic

how long had it been already? 'only 5 or so minutes?' the ranger thought to himself as his chin rest atop rowan's shoulder while the aforementioned blond continued to feed off his blood. dante noticed earlier how much the vampire seemed in need of some, and sure he offered his own blood to remedy the situation, but was is really normal for the other to need so much?? he must've been suppressing himself, was the conclusion dante came up with as he felt his vision beginning to blur.

dante became awfully stiff once he was guided to sit in the gondola beside the mourning actor — the ranger himself not knowing what to do as an occurrence like this was entirely new to him〝 guess i must be a lucky audience member to be able to ride on here hah.. ＂ he commented out of awkwardness to try and break the errie silence
