@hispanicbrat4ever @deathproofs honestly, i don’t think it’s really about romanticising abuse. it’s more about character growth and how the relationship evolves. like, imagine a bully character who acts that way because of their own insecurities or trauma. over time, they could learn healthier ways to express themselves and change through their connection with someone who challenges them. it’s not about excusing bad behavior, but showing how people can grow and develop, just like anyone else. not every “bully-turned-love-interest” is about abuse—it’s about showing how someone can break out of old patterns and form a deeper connection. it’s kind of like seeing two people who start off on the wrong foot, but eventually find understanding and respect through their experiences together.

@deathproofs Aaawh thanku!! And hahah yea right!! Ahh I never have enough time and then I start a new one or forget! Idk it’s a struggle. But about the book; it wasn’t as I expected, even if I knew he’d become an insect lol, but I still liked it! I just kept hoping for him to become normal again or something or his family coming to their senses but then when it didn’t happen it made me quite sad lol, and now I know what kafkaesque means lol </3
