I just experienced the most humankind thing I’ve ever seen.
A boy that I know from my school came up to me a few moments ago. He was asking to follow his new insta account, and I hate talking in german so I just didn’t respond. And then a man, that I don’t know at all, just came up to us and asked me if I knew the boy. I didn’t have the time to respond because the boy responded for me and said yes so I just nodded my head in confirmation. The boy then left and the man came up to me again to ask if it was actually true that I knew him. I assured him that it was true and I actually knew him.
Saying this because, even though the man didn’t knew me, he sort of had this urge to protect me because he saw that I didn’t respond to him. He thought I was uncomfortable, which, btw, wasn’t a total lie but he didn’t know that. This makes me think that the society isn’t totally lost in women rights. I’m grateful for what he did because he didn’t know me from anywhere.
