Okay. Let me rant for a moment please.

So we're at lunch, eating and talking amongst each other when, someone at the table mentioned something about how she knew someone whose boyfriend committed suicide. In which, one of my other friends sitting at the table with us asked : "Why did he commit suicide?"

I am stating right now that since I know most of my followers personally, I'm not going to use real names. So, let's call this person Delilah, shall we?

So Delilah, being the curious child she is, asked a question that you think could be simply answered, right?

Well, the girl telling the story, let's call her June, answered with a reasonable response. Something along the lines of, "He had a rough life with his family and all..."

Delilah, still being the curious little beast she is, again asked why, still confused.

June answered again with something about how his family life was complicated.

Choosing to zone out instead of stabbing someone in the face with a sharp brick, I congratulated myself on not snapping.

Let me tell you this: no one truly understands suicide. You may think it's because of family issues or because they just weren't accepted emotionally or socially, but it's mentally that overrules all. Your thoughts are the darkest part of your existence. You could go mad with just simple thoughts. And, to be honest, that's what makes a suicide a suicide. You put yourself down and, let me tell you, your brain knows how to show that you're truly vulnerable, no matter how brave you pretend to look.

So please, don't ask why someone does something such as a suicide. We only choose to blame it on something to make our selves feel rational and knowledgeable. But it's much more complicated.

I'm totally on Bored with you, it was really messed up of her to ask that. I know she wanted to know, but there are only so many reasons why someone would commit suicide.

I'm going to let this go. Now I'm not going to stop thinking about it. It really is a terrible thing and people think it's a joke or they don't take it seriously.

There are so many things that are wrong with this world and there is only so much a kid could take.

I have a solution. We should just stop being mean to each other...don't talk bad about people. Because this is how it all starts.

I have a friend I've know sense I was 4. She had bad depression. She didn't tell me about it, she didn't tell anyone. It's not the fact that she didn't tell me what was going on. It's the fact that I didn't know....I should have known something was wrong.

This all just leads back to the same story. We can help those who need it.
