i'm finally in my final year of engineering! i'm thrilled to share that i scored 8.71 sgpa, and my parents are beaming with pride (人 •͈ᴗ•͈)! i'm on cloud nine!

I'm in my third year of engineering, well, it has almost come to an end. So, in two or three months, I'll be starting my fourth year. After my fourth year, I was planning to earn. But my parents are telling me to pursue a masters degree by giving the GATE exam and if possible a PHD too. Do you all think I should pursue a masters...? I'm tired to be honest because I'm the eldest sister and my father is 51. I want him to rest now...PLEASE GIVE ME ADVICE!
@deep_234 you do tutoring, bacche padhao and also continue studying. Then you'll be help to ur dad but also continue studying. Tuitions are a good earning, specifically teaching younger children

And if chota mota job lu toh parents karne nai de rhe, bas papa ye bolte, "mai zinda hu na, I'm not dead. I'll provide" and damn I cry then. Ig I'll work in a cake shop or something and will hide from them that I'm earning from there...
@deep_234 doing masters not only will enhance your knowledge and get you deeper into your field but also increase the chances of getting a higher paying job. You have one life babe, maybe you won't get to come back and study later in the future. Your dad did what he could when he was younger. Now he is proud of you for what you are doing. But if it's something you can't stand anymore- this might sound too ambitious but- start earning. Definitely you will make and save up enough where you can not only provide but afford to do what you actually love to do. Whatever path you choose, make sure you'll be happy by the end of it.
