Are those nails welded together into crosses?

There’s absolutely no need to kick yourself, T. Like you said, everyone moves at their own pace. Should you decide to go, I’m certain you’ll be successful at it. Should you decide not to go or life precludes you from it, you will certainly be okay and find a way to make the most of your life, whatever that looks like to you. Be proud of yourself for even making this far — many people don’t. Do you want to talk about what’s been going on in your life?

Oh, no, you’re okay, T. I didn’t think you didn’t. I was just speaking generally about apolitical people. There are unfortunately wide swaths of the population that don’t even do the bare minimum.
All great sports! I wasn’t nearly as athletic as you sound as far as formal sports go. I played lacrosse and ran XC, but that’s about it. I did the same throughout university. I always felt like soccer, basketball, and the sort required so much more skill than XC, which is exactly why I stayed away from them. Nothing’s wrong with coloring. It’s a pretty therapeutic activity. Do you work or study?

Yes, I know what you mean very well! If I could manifest the courage to find a new job and move elsewhere, I definitely would. Unfortunately, I’m prone to staying where I’m familiar and comfortable.
It’s perfectly valid to not want to discuss politics. I do take the mindset that we should be as politically active as possible, participating in voting and the sort, speaking out against injustice where we see it, but I also recognize that’s not everyone’s cup of tea— and that’s okay. Politics seldom unites as much as it does separates unfortunately. Aside from having a superb music taste, do you have any hobbies?
