@deewiwi Thank you. I assume they also have their language proficiency tests that you need to do well on, so that's an added weight lol. I'm very surprised to hear that. I thought everyone was aware that AO3 is an alternative (and frankly, a much better one). The best part is that you don't have to necessarily sign up to read on it.
@Chatayer ooh i hope things work out well for you!! and i’m considering italy and georgia. but it’s all merit-based so everything depends on whether i crack their respective exams, but i’ll most likely be moving to one of them. also that’s new to me, i had no idea about AO3 before you mentioned it T-T do you use it as well?
@deewiwi Lol I might have to take a hiatus myself (things are stepping up for me irl). What are your choices for the countries you want to move to? It definitely has lost its magic, especially since 2022-ish, if I were to pick a specific time period. I suppose people also had a lot more time to read back then, because many of us were either in undergrad or school. There aren't a lot of authors who come up with good BTS fanfics anymore, and the ones that did either left or went on extended hiatuses due to various causes. Additionally, I've noticed that most people gravitate toward AO3 because it's got better stories and no ads. Or maybe this is just us becoming adults lol.
