so i can’t watch the ST finale tonight yet [PLEASE NO SPOILERS, IM HIDING HERE ON WATTPAD SO I DONT GET SPOILED ON TIKTOK] so i can’t post this on tiktok but i just today and made a reading list for all my books i’ve posted and JESUS!! It’s over 40 books and only 22 of them are finished…… 
          
          anyways, if anyone wants to see them, they are on a reading list on all three of my accounts and they are in the order of when i published them so it’s a little out of whack lolol

i have a question for you all who are more a Marauders fans than Golden Trio Era. I personally have only really read golden trio fanfics which is why i’m more in that fandom rather than Marauders. But i do have a plan to write a Marauders fanfic which would be about Jenna Potter and Melinda Blake’s years at Hogwarts and how Melinda & Sirius fell in love as well as Jenna & Ricky, it ultimately ending unfortunately with Jenna being killed and Sirius being arrested. But i have no idea what kind of fanfics people prefer. do people want a full seven years of hogwarts fanfic or would you want the story to start in the 5th or 6th year? i obviously would have a prologue of everyone meeting as kids and then time jump but like what do people prefer? cause i haven’t read any Marauder fanfics, so I don’t know.

I’ve read both eras and both start periods. Think it’s really up to how you want the story to play out. Some have started from getting the letter and getting ready for first visit to platform 9 3/4. Others have started from mid-final years. The early ones often have the characters doing huge amounts of growth whereas the latter ones are more about relationships with a lesser self growth and more relationship growth. It’s entertaining to see how people write Hogwarts in different time periods though. Even remember one where was very different era as it was McGonagall in her student years.
