i just went onto ao3 and for SOME REASON a whole slew (is that a word?) of chrissy/eddie fanfics fell onto my lap. i do not understand, eddie is so gay. and honestly, i feel like eddie and chrissy are peak mlm and wlw solidarity. what is this? guys? what happened to the fandom?
me seeing a couple of steddie camp AUs and not clicking on them bc it didnt seem like itd work
me two days later seeing a fanart of them sitting together that gave intense camp vibes and suddenly its all i can think about
me, only just now realizing that the tag is "canon compliant" and not "canon complaint". i went years thinking that fics with this tag were written bc the author hated canon so much they redid it to fix it. i was kinda right... i mean, to be fair it worked in context.
