Guys...
*An Encounter* means more to me than most people know. When I first wrote it, I was hopeful in a way only a 12-year-old can be — wide-eyed, gentle, a little lost, but full of dreams. I wasn’t confident, but I believed in that story because it felt like the one place where my heart made sense.
Almost two years later, I’m not that girl anymore. I’ve grown, bruised a little, and learned a lot. I’m dealing with school, heartbreak, and turbulent relationships — especially with my parents. I found my real self somewhere in the middle of all that, and she’s stronger… but she’s tired, too.
I realised I used all my light on *Evergreen* and used the rest trying to protect *Violet Eden* from going dark. And when I looked back at *An Encounter*, there was nothing left to give. The story felt like a version of me I can’t reach anymore.
So after a lot of thinking, I’ve decided to discontinue the book. Not forever — just until I can come back to it with the same love it deserves. I hope everyone who cared for it can forgive me. I want to fall in love with *An Encounter* again, even if it means rewriting everything or changing the entire world around it.
Thank you for waiting for me, even while I’m still learning how to wait for myself.
