@beartricks   it's my uniform.   [ /was/ her uniform until today.   her eyes fall to look at her gloved hands before removing them carefully as if they'd be made of silk and sliding them into her pockets. ]   i did not have a moment to change before coming here.   is it that strange truly?

[ she is snapped out of her train of thought,   a cigarette resting between her index and middle fingers.   a small whisper of smoke curled upwards from the tip,   twisting and dancing in the air before dissolving into nothing. ]  thank you,   but you needn't trouble yourself over my well-being.   i'm just..   trying to remember the landscape.   [ she pressed the cigarette into the ashtray,  a faint sizzle following soon after. ]  i usually recall places,   people,  notes—just about anything in excellent detail,   but for some reason...   i don't know.

/  i’m feeling adventurousss and wouldn’t mind any timeline!  vince’s incident took place between the 50’ and 70’s (still fledging him out smh) so i think it’ll be interesting to see him sort of new to his changes in the 70s era  (:   +  curious for mood

@calderonas    eyeing me with contempt?   sure.   [ she waits for a response,   but her friend's expression appears to teeter between disbelief over ana's denial and amusement over the implication.   at this,   she pauses her light sketching. ]   oh,   you're not being serious,   are you?   i can assure you that he’s not.    artie has been immune to my charms since i arrived.

the rest of the tour was brief with the prefect guiding her swiftly to the locations without meandering too much or giving out too much nonsense. what would the reason be for any of it? any questions were answered automatically, thoughtlessly, and monotonously. towards the end, all eyes that found themselves on him were given a glare back. all to say that he wanted it to be over.
            
            once he gave a rundown on the final room, he collapsed his bag open and reached for the novel — really the transfiguration textbook — that he had dug into during breakfast. tucking it to his side, he huffed. “that was your tour. if you have any other questions or concerns, i’d direct you to your peers or your own prefects. ideally, you get your bearings in within a few days. if not—” his eyes flickered down at her. “there were instances of lost limbs before.” the appraisal was over within that instance. “right, goodbye then.”

@imperioed   "i believe i do.   /unfortunately/,"   the bigotry directed to muggles and muggleborns was not confined to the walls of this castle and stretched out to the rest of the world.   it was troubling to know that there are people,  especially as young as they are here,   with so much hate in their hearts for a group of people who’ve done them no harm.   
            
            anastasie swings the door to the classroom open,   popping her head round the door to get a look inside of the classroom.   it was small for a studio which probably had to do with it being a class about muggles and the overall interest in the subject.   still,   she was excited as ever to immerse herself with art outside of the wizarding world.   she closes the door quietly before turning her attention back to him.   “onto potions and ancient ruins then?”

“you can gain and lose points for anything. professors, prefects, and the head boy and head girl have the ability to manipulate it. that’s why i suggest getting on everyone’s good side unless you want to be known as the person responsible for the most points deduction from ravenclaw.” 
            
            the next location is the transfiguration courtyard which obviously isn’t located too far away from the actual room. the next class she mentioned was muggle art which is a few corridors away. he only has to lead her through another door, opposite of where they entered the yard. 
            
            “if you’re taking a muggle class, i would hope you know who to avoid if ever they walk past. lest you would like to be bombarded by tiring comments.” he gives her a pointed look. “you know what i mean, don’t you?”
