I was walking around the store, closing up shop. No one was in any of the aisles, so I headed into the back to the break room, grabbing my stuff of one of the tables.
          
          "Hey, Laurie. Can you come down to aisle three? I need help cleaning up this mess." My eyebrows drew in. I checked aisle three, it was clean.
          
          "Sure, be right there Wendy." I really didn't want to be here in a Friday night. 
          
          "Goo because there's-" Wendy started screaming. I froze but my heart was racing. Then there was laughing on the other end if the line, a laugh that was old ancient and not from this world.  I started running but was stopped by a cold hand running it's fingers along my arm.

Hey guys so today I entered a scifi competition and I wanted to show you guys. So here it is.
          
          Whatever is left of what used to be earth is now gone. The forests, jungles, oceans, animals, it's all gone. Earth is just a big mass of rock with craters in it. There is nothing left, nothing to survive on. So we left. On earth there was nothing, so all the humans left, in hope to find a better world, to find a better life. The Elders described earths beauty to us when it still had it. They say earth had green forests an jungles with all kinda of wild life. I wasn't old enough to see them. When the earth started to crumble is the year I was born. 2016, the year of destruction.
          
          So what do you guys think? Like it? Yes, no maybe so?
