lobco, whilst she had a tendency to stay away from home, had finally found herself making a trip to her familiar home amongst the sea. fairly exhausted from the trek there in the first place however, she had made the attempt to enter her house without being noticed- if only to not be spoken to by cherryblod on the way to her room. she would’ve loved for conversation with him.. had she not been terribly tired, that is. slowly opening the house’s door with a small creak, she winced a little at the sound, taking in a sharp breath.

@demonshrimp she cracked a small smile with hearing that, her shoulders relaxing as she looked up towards her parent. “ still, though; you could care less, if you really wanted to. ” she remarked, letting out a heavy breath. she had seen it happen before, parents not showing much care- and, for that, she was thankful towards cherryblod. folding her hands behind her back, she continued after him, tilting her head when seeing him open the cabinet.

┈┈୨୧ ݁ ٬٬ @familiarisms- [ as he walked to the bathroom, he couldn't help but stop in his steps for a moment when he heard the other's speech. looking towards the other, he beamed. ] dawh, of course! you don't have to say thank you for that, though.i'm just your father.. parents usually should care for their children, you know? [ moving his head back towards the front, he started walking again, heading towards the bathroom. as he got inside, he hurried and opened a cabinet, after that, he sighed in relief. the first aid kit was in there. ]

@demonshrimp perking up a little with hearing his mention of the first aid kit, she looked up at him once he had gotten up. She was quick to follow suit, smoothing out her antennas. “ okay. thank you again, dad. ” the words slipped out before she could stop herself, with the hybrid placing a hand to her arm. “ for… um, a lot of things, really — but, taking care of me most of all, I guess. ”
