somebody - grew on me, i like it now
ghost - i like it
peaches - i was hyped for it and the features didn’t disappoint but it was very repetitive
love you different - it’s okay
loved by you - like the song but don’t like the feature
anyone - didn’t like it when it first came out as a single, but listening to it as part of the album, i like it more now
lonely - good
OVERALL THOUGHTS
- very chill album
- production’s amazing
- lyrics were very bland and basic
- most of the songs were very repetitive, he repeated verses 3+ times
- i wish he was more experimental with this album, the songs that were, like die for you and deserve you were my favourites because they were different
- listening to the album as a whole felt short cause out of 16 songs 4 of them were already singles BUT apparently the deluxe album will be out tomorrow
- one thing i don’t understand about the whole idea of the album is the MLK quotes. nearly all the songs were about love and hailey there weren’t any songs about social issues and ‘justice’ which i assumed there would be but i don’t see it as a huge issue
anyways this sounds like i hate the album I DONT but i need to give it loads of listens like any other album
plus there’s so much unnecessary hate from locals who’ve never listened to a jb album in full before
like he’s a pop/rnb album if you want deep lyrics that you can over analyze listen to someone else we’re just here to vibe <3
