well, like the rest of this fandom... our 2021 dreams have just been shattered. lin isn't going to oscars, and neither is vanessa. i'm pretty sure everyone was super hyped to see lin and vanessa, but as most of y'all know, vanessa has covid. i have been discussing it with @xxscoresby, and it has been a long long week.
          
          i apologize deeply i haven't been updating lately, i'm going through some stuff right now. it's been a shitshow of a week, dare i say. and i'm crushed lin isn't going to the oscars. but, of course, i hope for vanessa's fast recovery of covid, and continuous negative tests for the rest of the family, so they can go home to their kids, and enjoy the rest of the award show season.
          
          yes, lin can still go to the oscars if he wanted to, but, as the man we know he is, he is choosing to play safe, and give up what could be the best night of his life for other people's safety. i think we all adore him for that.
