I’ve got an overwhelming urge to write a sappy, heart warming, cringing-in-a-good way, soul crushing, tear inducing highschool romance staring phh fic. I already have two fics out.. Someone stop me.

@haroldsmydad02 ik like you don't want to have it written in a childish manner or that's its too cringey or feel like a child has written this although the plot is still good. And the characters that's the hardest

Hell, I even had Trep published, up to 24 (I think) chapters before I concluded it wasn’t my best work. So I unpublished the lot of it, fine tuned my story line and characters until I drafted something I saw worth reading. It’s a lot of trial and error, but there’s absolutely no harm in having a go! You might surprise yourself lovely x

Oh trust me.. I went through many, many drafts that stayed hidden for a long time before I had a ‘fuck it’ moment. My rule of thumb is if I can’t read my work with thorough enjoyment, than it’s not good enough. But it’s all just fun at the end of the day, do it for yourself and no one else!
