Department of Weird Sounds

It's been a while, so have a quick note. I'm definitely still writing Hold On, in the sense that there is more to come, and there will be more. I can't promise when. My life has been incredibly chaotic, especially in the last 3 or so months. I've been in and out of hospital again as my own disability has taken another step up, and someone in my immediate family that I am a carer for has been diagnosed with a fairly serious illness that will take a few months to resolve. And I'm still working full time in a corporate job.
          
          I haven't had much time on my hands at all and truthfully, in terms of actual writing, I have about 200 words of the next chapter done. I know I've still been occasionally posting videos over on YT - it takes a lot less mental energy to get one of those edits done than to write. However, this story is planned out for much longer, and it will be written eventually. The last 20 chapters or so are also going to get some edits to fix up quite a few errors that have slipped in when I've been rushing my writing and posting process a bit more to actually get stuff up. I'm hoping I'll actually get one or two chapters up later this month when I get some time off work, but I won't make any promises yet.

Hi all and happy holidays! Apologies it's been a while between posts again. A combination of work things being very busy and computer troubles have prevented me from writing for a while, and because of the latter, posting the stuff I have written. I haven't lost any of what I've written, but haven't actually been able to access the doc to post it. I will be regaining access to the doc in a few days and will post a chap then :)

If you don't mind me asking, do you take any requests for fics? I know you are currently working on Hold On ('Til The Getting's Good), but I had an idea for a fic and thought if anyone can do it justice it would be you. If not, that is completely understandable. 
          
          I also wanted to say thank you for all your hard work that you've put in over the years for the Shourtney fandom. Your stories have definitely helped me through many a tough times!

In a solid sign that I should never give distant timelines publicly, I will just have to give a quick update that Hold On update may still be a little further away than indicated (maybe late June) - albeit, on the other hand, speed-wrote a oneshot yesterday and if I can find the time to edit it, hoping it will be posted within a couple of days.
          
          Just a bit more restricted from jumping back into a bigger project like Hold On, however, as my grandmother passed away a couple of days ago, and while it was not unexpected, it does mean I need to spend a bit more time with family and helping with arrangements.

Hi all, just a quick update/apology. Holding On will definitely be back! I still plan to finish it. I’m sorry I haven’t been posting much lately. I’ve been in a surge period at work and that involves lots of writing for work, so I’m less inclined to write outside work. But that’s over, I’m about to spend a lot of hours on planes flying to another continent for a much needed break, and I’m hoping that means writing time and enough writing that I can commit to a regular posting schedule again when I get home. 
          
          It could be a few weeks, and I’m not going to say a specific date until I start wiring again- but before mid-June it will be back.

Well, yep, the shipped couple is now… a real, married couple. I will just put out a reminder that this news doesn’t change my rule that shipping content is still fictional, including my fics, and should be kept away from the actual people.
          
          That being said, yep, I’m aware I… wrote this, or something like it, a few times. Any similarities to real life are purely accidental and probably a result of me just writing WAY TOO MUCH.
          
          On that note - I’m sorry Hold On hasn’t been updated regularly again. I’m hoping I’ll have the time soon to get back to it, because that’s definitely still happening.
          
          And if you happen to watch my Shourtney stuff on YouTube too, I guess that channel has become a little more active again too. Although mostly from a sudden influx of comments on old videos about things that suddenly make a lot more sense.

Have you seen Courtney’s Instagram today?!? It is either the best news ever or a crazy prank. Shourtney is real!?

I just recently started reading Shourtney fanfic, but I have enjoyed your YouTube compilations very much. You have written some wonderful fics, but I must say "Safe" and "Break" had being crying the whole time I was reading them. I was so sorry to hear about your friend. I hope you keep up your writing. You have told some wonderful stories and you write beautifully. I have watched your compilations so many times, I have lost count. Take care of yourself and I look forward to anything new you write or put on YouTube.
