So my mum got me a new school bag with mickey mouse all over it which i like, but i just don't like the shape of the bag. So i put on a childish voice and day "i want a marvel bag" (as a joke obviously, bec i wouldn't ask like that) and she says "Your (my age), not 4"
I laugh and say huh? And she's like, "wait you are (my age) aren't you?" And i say yea? And she's like yeah, and repeats saying that im not 4. Bearing in mind i have been non stop talking about marvel since 2020, know like everything about it, and is always watching it. And she has been watching it to so idk what she's on about. I said "well im not gunna watch avengers with you anymore then" in again that childish voice. And she's like "did i offend you?" She did. I know she didn't mean to but she did, it hurt me a lot because its something im really passionate about and she's saying that i shouldn't be watching it because im not a baby. I've grown up with people saying things like that about harry potter but never from my own mother. Idk what to say...
