I have a problem y’all. Can someone tell me why most of the books on Wattpad especially the bxb characters have non existent self-respect at all ? I mean I get that some characters have had a traumatic past and stuff like that that makes them this way and it can showcase character growth but why most of them are like this ? For instance, why do most bottoms( not all) feels the need to stay with the top who doesn’t treat him right and then forgive him ? Like what ? And it happens so often it’s annoying. Very rarely and I mean very rarely did I saw some characters who knew their worth and did not stay where they felt unloved. I feel like most books create this stereotype especially in the werewolf bxb type thingy that is not realistic at all. I want characters that have emotions and feel real. Not saints that always forgive and forget after being literally tortured. I know maybe I’m asking too much but why do we need to project these of mentality that everything can be forgiven ? Okay I’m done lol sorry for the rant and probably no one is going to read that but oh well at least I said what I had to say. Also, I’m probably gonna start to write my own first book, but I’m too sure when I’m gonna post it.

@destruct1on that's some truth there. There are a lot of books that I skip when I read the description that are like how you described them, so you are not alone
