Chase Gagnon is a poet from Detroit, who has had multiple poems published in magazines such as The Heron's Nest, Frogpond, Modern Haiku, Ototliths, Shamrock, A Hundred Gourds, Cattails, just to name a few. He placed 2nd in the Sharpening the Green Pencil Annual Haiku contest in 2014, was a runner up in Shamrock's Reader's choice awards, and In 2013 he had a poem published in the prestigious Red Moon Anthology titled "The Fear of Dancing". He has been writing poetry since he was 15 years old.
