“okay , maybe it’s a bit worse than i thought ...” she managed to get off lucky , again , having the bullet miss a biocomponent by just a few inches , maybe less . if it had been a better shot , she doubted that she would be working right now , “it missed the component , but the bullet is still in there , so don’t try and seal it up yet . i’m not living with a bullet in my side .”

They may be deviants, but at the end of the day, they could never quite be human, thus needing a certain amount of thirium to run through their systems in order to keep their biocomponents working as they should be. "I think we should secure the wound to the best of our abilities and then take you to see Lucy. It didn't hit any biocomponents, did it...?"
