Rarely ever do I talk about authors who I think are truly amazing but I HAVE to shoutout the author of “White Lies” and “Perjury”. I think she has an amazing understanding of the complexities that come with the human mind and emotions. Her world building is AMAZING and her understanding of mind and feelings allow for her to write complex characters. Not characters you can simply hate or love.
          
          I’m not usually a reader of the taboo like the “adopted but not really siblings” subgenre of poly but I think “white lies” does an amazing job of making you almost root for them to get together. Again the characters are VERY complex and many of them don’t do things “for no reason”. 
          
          Perjury, THE BOOK THAT YOU ARE! I’m a person that likes to read when the book is complete but something about the book has pulled me in and I wait faithfully every Saturday and Tuesday for the updates. This is a REAL enemies to lovers if you’re ever looking for one. 

Some of y’all get away with aggravating female mcs by making her a “bitch”. You can tell when a woman hates other women through their writing

Authors please for the love of everything holy, stop leaving your first book on a cliff hanger and then not having the second book at least in the works… if i read one more cliff hanger, im jumping off said cliff

Bout to make an ‘eww’ list for books with icky things in them like weirdly placed age gaps. Yes 18 and 21 is weird… 3 years isn’t a lot but the gap in both maturity and mindset are astronomical.
