his magic is being able to create concoctions with healing properties . it takes a lot out of him depending on how severe the injury is , but as long as he rests and gets a good cup of tea later , he's fine . most of the time .

marilis used to attend nrc before he became the nurse there . he was sorted into pomefiore . he would often practice his remedy magic on other classmates , who didn't seem to mind much if they had gotten hurt .

marilis is a tired nurse . he often dozes off in his office until someone comes crashing in to either avoid class , or actually got hurt . he prefers the latter , not wanting to deal with whiny students asking for a chance to skip . what he doesn't mind is allowing them to have a break for fifteen or so minutes to rest if they need it , as long as they're quiet and hurry off to class afterwards . he has a large softspot for his students , he would just rather not show it .
