Massive changes coming to I'M Not Over You! Looks like I won't be dropping it but I'm definitely gonna make it difficult for me to write chapters.
Now I'll be editing the first 7 Chapters and the beginning of the 8th Chapter soon.
The perspective of the story will remain fixed. I'm planning to change the default POV to that of author's.
Emma's POV would mean that you guys would be oblivious to the tragic things happening and it will probably ruin the novel. It'd also seem as if it is targeted for the female audience, as only Sean's details would be elaborated.
Sean's POV would definitely bring a hell lot of new events and a good insight of the story but then you'll be missing on the reasons for everybody's actions. And it'd also be aimed at Male audiences because Emma's details would be elaborated. Although I know girls won't mind that much, but I can't take any risks and lose most of my readers, can I?
Author's POV would definitely provide a complete insight to the story. It sure will decrease details a little bit, and actually would be the most difficult to write too, but at the same time, it won't miss on any event or reason.
So technically I'll be going for Author's POV, and would be challenging myself. If you don't know what I mean by that, try reading Beautiful Mistake by Laiza Saludo Millan on Wattpad. She's an amazing writer and she has absolutely nailed Author's POV in one of my favorite Wattpad novels.
I'll be starting work soon on I'm Not Over You! Instead of editing the first few chapters now, I'll continue with the rest of the story, and once I get time, I'll be editing the first few chapters too. Don't worry, the story is the same. It's just change in perspective and editing of a few things which I think would make problems if I publish a paperback. I'll be getting out one or maybe more chapters this month- that's for sure.
Thank you for reading
