What’s happening in Sudan right now doesn’t even feel real, but it is and it’s so hard to wrap my head around how much pain people are going through there.
Women are being r*ped and tortured, literally burnt alive and men are being shot and left to die in the sand, not even literal BABIES are spared.
I heard about that poor woman who was hung from a tree, and I can’t stop thinking about how much horror and fear she must have felt. It’s DISGUSTING and heartbreaking, and I don’t understand how anyone can do that to another human being.
Every day, people are losing everything, their homes, their families, their safety, their literal rights to LIVE. Women, children and men, FAMILIES, HUMANS, are being targeted in ways that are beyond cruel.
They’re starving, they’re scared, and the world barely talks about it, it’s like everyone just moves on while entire lives are being destroyed. And that silence hurts almost as much as what’s happening, because it makes it feel like their suffering doesn’t matter.
I’m not posting this for attention, I just feel like I have to speak about this, because what’s happening there is pure HORROR, it’s not okay and if I can do it, you can do it too.
These people deserve to be seen, to be heard, to be cared about. What’s happening in Sudan is not just “a conflict” , it’s people being treated like they’re less than human.
And even though I can’t fix it, I can talk about it. Because silence helps no one.
Please don’t scroll past, read about it, talk about it and care about it, because the people in Sudan deserve so much more than the world’s silence.
