Author’s Note – Full Reboot Announcement
          
          Dear Readers,
          We want to start by saying sorry to anyone who loved the previous version of AlekEva. We know many of you grew attached to those chapters, and we deeply appreciate all your reads, comments, and support.
          After careful thought, we’ve decided to completely unpublish the old story and start fresh. This was necessary to tell the story we’ve always wanted—darker, sharper, and more intense—focusing solely on the mafia arc. Everything from the previous version is no longer canon.
          We’re also excited to share that Ani is back in the collaboration, bringing fresh energy and vision to this new universe.
          The new AlekEva explores tension, obsession, and psychological depth in ways the old story couldn’t. It’s a fresh start where every choice, glance, and encounter matters. The essence of Alek and Eva remains, but the stakes are higher, the dynamics are more layered, and the story is crafted with the depth we always envisioned.
          We hope you’ll understand and join us on this new journey. Thank you for your support, and we can’t wait to share this universe with you.

Hello dear readers!!!!
          First of all, a very happy new year to everyone of you. I hope everyone has been safe and sound. And I know I had been away for a while now, so I had wanted to inform you of the current status of the projects.
          Veiled Book Two is still being drafted and hopefully will be completed by a month or two (I'll inform on insta).
          Sweet Malice is currently available only on Stck me, as I received a notice from Wattpad and I had no intentions of taking risks (though not updated).
          Honestly everything is overwhelming at the moment, but writing remains constant in my life. Bad days where I was stuck staring at the screen, no motivation to continue, no inspiration to brainstorm. But then again, these struggles are also a part of being a writer. I'm afraid I can't make any promises of "when" at the moment, but I am sure Veiled Book Two will be coming soon in 2026.
          Take that break. Go hang out with those loved ones. Walk in the nature.
          Despite the responsibilities weighing you down, self time and care is very essential to keep going.
