There are only six days left until the day when a little light came into my life in the form of a friend… a friend who isn’t beside me now, yet never leaves my heart .
            
            Her birthday is getting closer, and with it, the longing grows — almost as if the distance is reminding me of how much she means to me, and how much I wish she were here.
