            no—  no,  i  mean. . .   {  how  does  he  say  this  without  spilling  his  emotions  all  over  the  place?   five  doesn't  bother  resisting  the  urge  to  rub  at  his  temples  as  he  runs  over  his  words,   shutting  his  eyes  as  he  tries  to  figure  out  what  to  say.  }    i  mean,   they  make  fun  of  each  other  as  a  love language.   i'm  not  listening  to  a  word  of  "advice"  about  marriage.   not  from  them,   at  least.

            just  in  case.   if  we  ever  decide  to  get  passports  or the  like,   it'd  be  nice  to  be  prepared.    {  five  speaks  nonchalantly,   no  care  in  the  world  before  kris  asks  a  seemingly  innocent  question.   he  sputters  on  his  chicken  noodle  soup  without  any  warning,   hot  liquid  flying  out  of  his  mouth  before  he  grabs  for  a  napkin.  }   sorry.   wrong,  ah,   wrong  pipe.   ( .. )    if  you  wanted  to,   i  suppose  you  could.   it  could  be  easier  to  do  as  a  ,,  couple.

            i  know.   i  have  my  suspicions  over  how  they  grew  on  me.    {  there's  a  slight  smirk  playing  at  his  lips  as  he  continues  rifling  through  the  fridge,   keeping  his  head  down  to  keep  his  expression  hidden.  }   those  still  haven't.    i  don't  like  the  inconsistency   :/   i  prefer  my  food  to  be  obviously  edible.

            i'm  not  answering  that.    {  without  missing  a  beat  five  extends  the  flowers  out,   trying  to  dissuade  the  tension  that's  building  steadily  in  his  shoulders.   he  needs  to  be  better  at  this,   somehow.  }    ah,  well.    i  thought  flowers  were  in  order.   i  can't  recall  if  i  ever  got  them  for  you  or  not,   but  i  saw  you  looking  at  these  the  other  day.
