introducing , the captain , harley douglas . harley was born on a small farm in the wyoming mountains , living with his mother & his uncle with his wife & children . here he worked with cattle , horses & mules in the stead of his father , who died before him in the great war . though the money was never good , so in 1935 he left his mother & family to go to the recruiting station to become a marine && stayed one throughout the war . douglas would come to be known as a father to his men who called him skipper .
