Hi guys!! it's Dilfmeian here! I just want to say that I'm really sorry since I noticed that it's been a month since I last updated 'the Volleyball Goddess' and I promised you guys that I would at least update around 2 weeks at most.
          
          Unfortunately, I have too much assignments and tasks piled up from university and since my nephew was born, I've become his unofficial baby sister and look after him if my sister and my mom is unavailable at the time. And when I do have a free time, I use that time to read other fanfics and webnovels to find some entertainment for myself since I'm a sucker for fantasy romances and at least try to find some writing inspiration from other amazing writers.
          
          Worry not, I'm not abandoning this story - only going for a short hiatus until I finished most of my assignments and tasks and could breathe again iykwim... and luckily we're on the last arc of the story. Only a few more chapters left and the story will officially end and I will write bonus chapters revolving around the national team and their friends after timeskip!!

Hi everyone!! It's dilfmeian here!! Author of 'The Volleyball Goddess'. I'm sorry that I haven't updated my story since this past few weeks  I got too busy with my assignments and when I thought I have a spare time to continue writing, my lecturers assigned many more which is why I want to inform you guys that unfortunately, the story will have to go on a short hiatus (again) until I find the right time to update!! I promise you that I won't abandon this story!! Never!! Thank you so much for reading and supporting Hinata and her journey to become the greatest female volleyball player

Why did you stop update?

I just saw a comment on my book that said "I don't ship this at all' and idk why but it kinda hurts me when I saw it... I mean I understand not everyone will ship Hyakuhina but they're my comfort ship 
          
          I'm not forcing anyone to ship them too but if you don't ship it, then please keep it to yourself or just scroll down. There's no need to type a comment like that...
          
          Haikyuu fandom is a very open-minded and wholesome fandom... everyone respect each other's favourite ships and pairings and that's what I like about them.
          
          Please refrain from commenting something like that again in the future!! (●´⌓`●)

          I just want to say, thank you so much to all the readers of 'The Volleyball Goddess', followers or not, for showing so much love and leaving many kind and funny comments that made my day!! You guys are the best!! (≧▽≦)
          
          The fanfic idea was born after I read many female Hinata fanfictions plus watching a lot of volleyball videos of amazing female players like Saori Kimura, Kim Yeon Kyung, Amanda Francisco and many more!
          
          I am no volleyball player nor a good writer, but I try my best to continuously come up with an idea to entertain my readers while trying to keep the story as realistic as possible. I did many researches about volleyball rules, moves, play styles, both from Haikyuu and real-life volleyball players, for the story.
          
          Next, I just wanted to say, it's been almost a month and a half, I think, since I first published 'The Volleyball Goddess' and the amount of love given was so incredible that it makes me so giddy and I kept showing off to my sister lmao.
          
          To be honest with you guys, I wrote the drafts of the chapters before I actually published them. Which is why I was able to update quite frequently (3 chapters a week, I think). In fact, I already finished the drafts until after the timeskip. I'm currently working on the part of Hinata in the V-League (which in Haikyuu, would be the MSBY vs Adlers game). 
          
          However, it's been a week since I last continue writing the chapter and it kinda stresses me out because I usually able to finish writing the draft of a chapter in 3 days at most.
          
          So, after much consideration, I think I want to take a break for at least ONE WEEK to give myself time, if you guys would allow me to. I'm not abandoning the story or going on a long hiatus, but just for a while so I can come up with new ideas while allowing myself to relax.
