was reading an old maid chapter and my jaw dropped when the authors note asked for opinions on fontaine as the newest nation at the time. then it dawned upon me that i started writing it before sumeru came out. SON

omg i am SO surprised maid is still ongoing  i last logged onto this account in 2023 this is so crazy

me looking at the new chapter of maid almost 3k words into the literal beginning of the chapter after i’ve been told people prefer more frequent chapters than longer ones TTTTTTTTT HELP i think ill announce this rather than reply individually aarrrgghhh i don’t mean for the chapters to get that long i swear TTTTTTTT i’ll emphasise that there’s really no rush at all to read new chapters all in one go there’s many scene changes where u can take a break and come back later TTTTTTTT if im being honest the chapters only really get that long these days because there’s a lot of character arcs happening right now and i don’t wanna unnecessarily elongate the story by having too many chapters (◞‸◟) (◞‸◟) im also very aware that it’s primarily a kaeya fic and not my oc book so i don’t wanna publish chapters that are solely about the ocs…….if ygwim (◞‸◟) ILL TRY TO UPDATE MORE NOW ANYWAY i swear TTTTTTTT i think it’s just that usually a chapter would happen in a day in the book and i don’t wanna like. split a day up in chapters if it’s not an important day like for example diluc’s birthday or if there’s just no need to. ygwim. if theres very little plot progression in a chapter i don’t wanna publish that yk.
