i turned off auto update for wattpad and yet it still updated

I opened my wattpad app just to find out that @taetaeholic_ 's TaeKook book "Roommate" just got deleted...wattpad deleted a masterpiece wtf I've read that book eversince and wattpad did this- sksjsksjsj

a lot of people are complaining about the books in their library being removed..is it true tho?? sksjsksjks

can someone tell me what happened to the new update?? I haven't updated mine yet kekeke
