Heyy, whatever happened, happened, but I'm grateful to share that I actually never expected such love to the poem ‘The Weight of Us’ wow, thank you to everyone who read it! It's the first I wrote on issues women faced back in the day, and many still do.
Now, the exciting part is that I wasn't confident with the previous, so I've given it an ending that I like! Kind of given it personality and more womanhood to it, that the queen rebelled and even though her life would be spoilt she wanted women who would come after her to not face what she did!
I would love for you guys to read it and share your thoughts!

I've been wanting to say this from a long time, I'm gay! And I certainly don't like homophobic contests.
Recently or more like just now, ‘The Year End Mini-Awards' was promoted on my MB, a contest which states that LGBTQ content will be immediately disqualified. I haven't deleted the message so, you guys can still see it. I don't know if I've overreacted but I seriously don't care, what I care about is that there are still contests like these on Wattpad and moreover, there are people who participate in these contests.
All my life, since the day I turned 13, I've been constantly reminded by this world that I'm gay. And that it's wrong. But today, when I saw so many of you participating in such a contest, it truly broke my heart. And seriously I'm very disappointed in you if you knew that the contest had such rules and still participated.
I might've not made it clear earlier, but I DESPISE HOMOPHOBIA.
Such contests pull communities down, and more so, they remind me that in this world I'm not welcome.
Now, obviously I can't go and stop each of such contests but today when it was promoted on my MB, I really wanted to oppose it.

After a long lot of thinking, I've come to the conclusion that my next contest will be having the same awarding system as Ashes and Ink, because I think it's just better. So, there'll be three categories of awards as there were prior! Not two like there were in my previous contest! :)
