I’ve been thinking. And I feel like another thing that’s so heartbreaking about Trinity and Hoseok’s connection is the simple fact that he loves her so much to the point where he essentially places her on this pedestal.
He always tells her that he loves her and it’s “her over everybody” and that’s a beautiful thing, but it’s also extremely dangerous.
To love someone is to also have the ability to hate them. Therefore, him placing so much love and admiration inside of Trinity is also planting the seed for hate.
Even if the hate is not FOR her it is still directed TO her because at the end of the day she’s a safe space for him. So she sees both sides of him and it becomes that blurred line everyone is always talking about, ultimately making her confused and in book 2 we see her doubting the love between them because of this very reason.
It’s real but it seems fake whenever his switch flips so easily in the face of his own adversities. It’s very interesting.
@dionnes_tapes and this sis is why your story telling so dope and top tier! You tied all of that together perfectly. You really have written the perfect coming of age love story❤️ Im starting his forever today and I’m excited to reconnect them dots.

And that’s why as much as I hate what occurred in the third book, it was very much so necessary because it ultimately did what Trinity was afraid to do and that was get her family and his friends involved. EVERYONE was on Hoseok’s ass as they should’ve been lmao. And her taking the kids and leaving him for weeks was necessary for his growth as a character. I don’t think their relationship is perfect at all in fact I make this very clear. I didn’t intend for it to be. And certain parts are meant to be taken as couple goals bc yes they have their cute moments and yes sometimes he truly was being protective with pure intentions. But he still had a lot of healing to do. He even said at one point he loved her deeply, he just couldn’t express it in the right way sometimes because of his background. They both healed when the time was right and I’m happy they got to where they needed to be for themselves and their children.
I just finished reading his always again and I remember the first few times I read it i didnt full understand the “abuse” hobi put trinity though, i used think some of it was sexy & protective. But reading back now I feel really sad for trinity and there were times I wished she confided in others and they helped protect her more from hobi. Like other people could have held him accountable for his actions. Or whooped his ass.
