This is a great little summer reading series. Katie Prentice books 1,2 &3. I read it last year and enjoyed reading it again.

I've notice you've changed the status of a couple of my items. The Starship stories have not been changed to samples. They are still the complete stories they were before. However, all five of my Starship stories (including one not posted here) have been reedited and combined into a book that tells the "Starships Saga."

And I do miss the forums here.

@WilliamCulbertson hi there! I don't usually read stories with less than 20 pages, so I made an assumption! Thanks for the update and the book is back where it belongs. I had no idea that you all receive notices when I rearrange my reading lists. I must have driven some of the authors nuts. Thanks for letting me know!

Hi! Thank you so much for leaving votes on my book! I really appreciate it and hope you'll continue to enjoy it!

Please feel free to drop a comment and tell me what you think! I'm in the process of editing it now, so if you have any constructive criticism or something that wasn't clear, please do let me know so that I don't make the same mistake in the edited version!

          Thanks and stay safe!

Thanks for the kind comment on The Third Shadow. It was was especially pleasing as that's what a mystery writer hopes for from an ending - something which is a surprise but also makes perfect sense. My own personal favourite literary ending: Steinbeck's Of Mice and Men.
I can't remember if you were reading my cadaver dog thing, The Scent of Death, which I started putting out in September then pulled. If yes, my apologies. Being an adult writer on wattpad can be incredibly frustrating at times - all that effort and hard work for precious little reader feedback. My recent Wattys win has lifted my spirits however and I plan to start publishing it again in the spring after I've given it a go with UK publishing agents. I've also been invited to join the Wattpad stars programme, which should give my work greater exposure. I've got a couple of half finished things in my files, plus a couple of half-formed ideas in my head I'd like to flesh out, so you can expect plenty more output over the next few years.
Once again, thanks for your support. Have a great Christmas.

@bigimp It's the same fictional southern Italian port town in both novels, Punto San Giacomo. A couple of descriptive paragraphs ended up cross-migrating too...
Thanks again for your support. I hope our paths will cross again at some point in 2021.

@bigimp I read the Painted Altar. I just realized you are the same writer. No wonder I liked it so much!. I am 62 and enjoyed your view point very much. I can imagine your struggles finding the right audience on this platform. Many times I will be reading a story and the author will post in their AN...yay I start high school this week!!! I laugh and realized that's why it was so 1 dimensional and black and white. The mature writers see the grey areas and embrace them. The words seem rounder and lush. A sentence can evoke a whole scene. You write beautifully.

Thank you for reading the Sarah Spellings series, and voting on the chapters as you go. It's a thrill to imagine a reader enjoying these stories. Your Pet Peeves list is hilarious, and far and away the best compilation of common errors on this platform I've ever seen. All the best, Katie.
