@diorrcoded okay I haven't seen it yet but based on regular vampire stuff/ other movies. Vampires are the standered traditional vampires no sunlight. Daywalkers usually are halflings, they do stuff for the vampires during the day because they can still go out in the sun. They were sort of servants
