"What are you looking at?" I hear his soft, angelic voice acknowledging my gentle gaze. The gentle gaze that rested on his heterochromatic eyes, gleaming with tears from just a few moments before. My eyes widen in understanding as I register how the boy just a foot away from me had caused so much uncertainty and confusion in my life, despite us being labeled as 'enemies'.

My eyes glance across his face. From his left eye to his right, to his chin, to his lips, back to his dull, colorful eyes. I finally open my mouth to reply to him, noticing that I hadn't responded yet, "You're fucking gorgeous," I confess, my lips shaking from the cold air surrounding us.

Allistair is a 16-year-old teenager. Some might say that he isn't an 'average' teenager due to his royal upbringing, but really, he is. He is very reserved, staying in a small group of 7 people that he has known since the 2nd grade, all of them being royal or upper-class just like him. He often spends his time reading or binge-watching TV or anime. He is not very interested in sports, but he does find interest in a few, such as volleyball and hockey.

Vincent is 17, also raised as a royal. He is very respectable. Unlike Allistair, he is very jockey. In fact, he often spends a majority of his time doing physical sports. Other than that, he likes hanging out with his friend's and sister. He participates in hockey, basketball, and swimming,

A reoccurring issue is that Allistair and Vincent are in the same exact friend group. This makes for tons of very troublesome moments. Due to them being in the same exact friend group, they are always arguing and bickering, clearly causing many issues between their friend group.

Allistair, Vincent, and their friends all decide to meet up and sneak into a highly captivating forest during a time of royal events. They end up getting split up, making Allistair and Vincent involuntarily stick together. Will this forced proximity finally allow them to sort out their differences?

I've been having the full urge to delete my book and just stop doing everything. I'm tired of this shit bro. I can't even clean my room. "It's not that hard." Yes, the fuck it is. My mom never taught me how to clean, she's a hoarder, and my dad is a notorious bed-rotter. I was 4 the last time I've ever cleaned a room alone, and even then, my mom told me where things would go. I've talked to almost all of my neurodivergent friends and every single one of them think that there's something wrong with me. I hate my life. Honestly, I'm most likely going to give up on my book and literally everything. Don't be surprised if my work is deleted in a few hours or days.

@directedbyKhai dog I don't think something's WRONG with you. But I do think you're not well. Like- depressed. Your dad's shitty, your mom's shittier, and things are tough, and it's not your fault. But that doesn't mean there's something wrong with you. What's wrong is your parents. They're awful, and you don't deserve having to deal with them.

He went to Michigan to visit his grandparents which means he's two hours ahead of me instead of the usual 1 hour. Why is this a big deal, may you ask? Well, for one, he can hardly talk to me since he's talking to his grandparents. He goes to bed at about 12 o' clock. When he was at home, we could talk for about 2 hours and thirty minutes. I miss talking to him so much. "Oh, but Khai, didn't you break with your boyfriend about a week ago?" Do I look like I care? My ex was shitty, and I was already crushing on this guy the FIRST time we ever interacted. He is so much better than my ex. He always let me talk and vent about my relationship. He lets me talk about my interests. He's so handsome. I actually don't feel forced to say that about him. I love the way he treats me and how he never gets mad at me for venting and doesn't make fun of me when I cry. He gets worried about how dirty my room is because he doesn't want me to get sick or injured. He's so sweet. The only issue is him saying the n word, but I don't mind that. He's so much better. It's hardly ever that he says it anyways. The reason I wish he wasn't in Michigan is because now we can't talk as often and I miss how much we talked. He used to respond a lot and now he can't. He was also on a plane for a long time today. Hopefully I can talk to him a lot more tomorrow and he only didn't talk much was due to the flying.
