It hurts me knowing the extravagantly beautiful French Gothic that has captivated me is burning. I was very emotional when I was last there and ever since then I felt I left a part of me there at Notre Dame. Being half French hurts me more knowing a big part of our history is burning. Notre Dame is important to me. I pray Our Lady of Paris stands strong and will survive this tragedy.
