my favorite type of notification to get is when someone who’s usually a ghost reader pops out of the shadows to comment on a part of my book because it means that I did my job as an unpaid writer (said job being ragebaiting or cute fluff)

the warmth of a night survived just hit 100 thousand reads oh my god
          
          thank you guys so much for letting me shove Carl and Alice down your throats for the past 3.5 years! I know it’s repetitive and annoying but, at one point, they were my entire life. quite literally editing, writing and non-stop thinking of them for months at a time. 
          
          and thank you guys for having the patience to not be angry with me for releasing antidote and doing something very risky with their story. I know it’s a drag to wait even longer, but I had to take a chance. 
          
          that being said, go binge read TWOANS and Antidote!! AND THANK YOU AGAIN!! 
          
          and also bad bunny slayed!!

for anyone who reads Dream State, yes I am planning on updating. 
          
          part of me needed to know the ending so that I had something to write toward. stranger things is a very complex show so I thought better to wait and think things through. 
          
          my ending became pretty clear in volume II and then the finale solidified it.
