Alright, alright, time for the disappointing news you all could predict from a mile away.
I have been unable to figure out a solid storyline for the sequel to Bleeding Out, and I don't want to dangle a carrot any longer. Please understand that I don't want to give you all something half baked with poor writing. But I don't want you to think that I don't want to put the work in either! I just feel great with where the story left off, and I can't find a good conflict for this sequel that's been swimming in my head forever. In order to beg for all of your forgiveness, I shall present the storylines I was exploring for the sequel.
• America is sad because his friends don't know what he's really like because he's always stressed :(
• Soviet Union comes back and for some reason wants America's help with something
• Dixie gets a girlfriend ?
• MORE CONFEDERATE FLAGS COME BACK FROM THE DEAD???
• ALL OF AMERICA'S PAST FLAGS COME BACK FROM THE DEAD??? (this was due to me learning about John Paul Jones)
• exploring the trauma of the states, which would be more short stories and not sequel
•AMERICA BEATS UP CHINA
I have tried combining and redoing a lot of these ideas, but they all ended up completely unrelated. So I just decided to give up and wallow in misery.
I have also fallen out of love with countryhumans. It's a sad truth, but I find myself drawing my little characters less and less. I'll try and jump back into it.
So the Bleeding Out sequel is not happening. But I hope to work on other short stories in the future, and keep editing the Bleeding Out story to make it better and better.
Please accept my apologies,
Blue
