Usually people don't reply to my announcements but I hope some do today.
I feel like everyone is pretty sad after watching the festa dinner and very understandably so. I mean it's the end of an era and it's ok to get emotional. Honestly I'm fine with them going solo really. I agree that some think that this was a slow buildup to a disbandment but I think different. We all know that bts have been nothing if not sincere and dedicated to their fanbase. Them reassuring us multiple times that they're gonna come back better than ever should be enough. But what made me upset was that they found it so hard to express that they're going solo to find their individuality and their drive for music again. The fandom has been with them through several highs and lows. This is not a low. I think this is the perfect opportunity for them to improve as individuals and contribute more to the group, that is whenever they come back. But as a fan I was upset and ashamed. They've been through so much over these years and for it to take so long for then to muster up the courage to express this is just heartbreaking. Like namjoon said it's hard cuz he doesn't have anything more to say but he's afraid if he says that he'll disappoint us. I wish we had reassured them as fans that even if they don't wanna say anything we'll always be there to listen and understand. Toxic fans aside, we're a family and families are accepting. When Namjoon cried it was just a new vulnerability and I thought that he was so brave. Even if they might be going solo and on a break from the group, I've never felt more closer to them.
